Megyn Kelly, anchor of Fox News Channel’s The Kelly File, is jumping on board the producer train headed to Hollywood.
Kelly, a hard-hitting reporter, has made a name for herself in the news world. She recently contributed to the spike in FNC’s ratings when she conducted an exclusive interview of the Duggar family. Her boss, Roger Ailes, has revealed that he will be giving Kelly a series of primetime specials that will air on the Fox News Channel sometime next year. The interviews are set to have the same feel the Duggar interview had. The network is hoping to pull off a look reminiscent of a Diane Sawyer or Barbara Walters interview, only with the fresh face of Kelly.
This is not the train that Kelly will be hopping onto, however. Kelly reportedly came on board as a co-executive producer of a new project called The Resident. It started out as a deal between Trigger Street Production Company–which is owned by Kevin Spacey and his production partner Dana Brunetti–20th Century Fox Television, and Fox 21 Television Studios.

The Resident will be about various first families and their journeys to the White House.
Spacey is no stranger to a political series chock full of controversy and drama, starring in one himself- the Netflix original series House of Cards.
Here’s hoping that Kelly’s hard-hitting reporting does not suffer when she gets off the train in Tinseltown and starts hobnobbing with the movie stars.
