While attending a White House function for President Obama’s initiative “My Brother’s Keeper,” rapper Rick Ross disrupted the otherwise solemn affair with a loud shriek from his ankle monitor.
Ross joined fellow rappers Nicki Minaj, Busta Rhymes, J. Cole, Wale, and DJ Khaled in order to support the initiative, which seeks to prevent young black men from falling into destructive cycles and instead pursue productive careers.
The incident occurred immediately after Obama finished giving his speech and even came as a shock to Ross. As reported by TMZ, “Ross was even surprised … the anklet’s new and it randomly beeps.”
