Sarah Sanders Is Back in a Big Way, Signs On with Fox News as New Contributor

Former White House press secretary Sarah Sanders has announced her next move.

And I have no doubt that conservatives are going to love it.

Sanders, who left the Trump administration in June — on good terms — will be joining Fox News as a contributor, Sanders and the network announced Thursday.

Sanders “will provide political commentary and analysis across all of FOX News Media, including FOX News Channel, FOX Business Network (FBN), FOX News Digital, FOX Nation and the radio/podcast division,” the network said in a statement, according to Mediaite.

Her first appearance on the network will come on Sept. 6, during the next live audience airing of the morning program “Fox & Friends.”

Sanders says she’s glad to be joining the network.

“FOX News has been the number one news organization in the country for 17 years running and I am beyond proud to join their incredible stable of on-air contributors in providing political insights and analysis,” the former White House press secretary said in a statement, the Washington Examiner reported.

Will you be glad to see Sarah Sanders back in the public eye?

Sanders joins her father, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, as a Fox News contributor, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Sanders served as Trump’s press secretary for roughly two years after taking over for Sean Spicer.

Now, the question is what Sanders’ new role means for her political future — specifically, any potential plans she has to run for governor of Arkansas.

Her former boss, President Donald Trump, has already said she would do a great job as governor.

“I hope she decides to run for Governor of Arkansas – she would be fantastic,” Trump tweeted in June.

According to journalist Yashar Ali, it’s conceivable that Sanders could still make a run.

“Unclear what this means for a possible run for Governor of Arkansas,” Ali tweeted.

Sanders “could feasibly stay with Fox News for two years and then run for Governor,” he added.
