Trump Calls Out Alleged Ford Leaker by Name Just Hours After Kavanaugh Confirmation

Share

There’s no doubt that Judge Brett Kavanaugh was put through the ringer by Democrats over the last few weeks … but there’s another person who may have been used and then discarded by the left as well.

We’re talking, of course, about Christine Blasey Ford. It might seem easy to dismiss the woman who accused Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her decades ago with no supporting evidence, but it looks increasingly clear that she was definitely abused — by Democrats.

It now appears that liberals in the Senate and on Blasey Ford’s legal team didn’t inform her that congressional investigators had offered to discreetly travel to California to meet with her in private.

Further hammering home the likelihood that she was just a pawn to the left, details of her alleged past trauma and accusations of abuse were then leaked to the press.

This pushed Blasey Ford right into the spotlight that she had supposedly tried to avoid, and the only people who could have handed that confidential information to the media were Senate Democrats.

There’s been a lot of speculation about exactly who on the left slipped the compromising information to reporters. Now, President Donald Trump has pointed a finger to one famous person.

While speaking to Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro, the president chastised several Democrats for their actions during the Kavanaugh debacle before naming California Senator Dianne Feinstein as the likely leaker.

“You saw that group. [Richard] Blumenthal, who falsified his service in Vietnam, that terrible mayor of Newark, New Jersey, Cory Booker, and Dianne Feinstein who in my opinion leaked the papers,” Trump declared, according to BizPac Review.

Do you think Dianne Feinstein leaked the papers about Christine Blasey Ford?

“It was terrible what they did to (Kavanaugh), very unfair,” Trump continued. “So I did stick with him and I am very happy I did.”

The president went on to explain that even though there was pressure to throw Kavanaugh under the bus and replace him with another nominee, Trump believed that staying the course was the right decision.

“It wouldn’t have been fair to him,” Trump said about withdrawing the embattled nominee.

“What the Democrats did was disgraceful. Things that came out of the wind. There was no corroboration,” he pointed out.

“This is a high-quality, brilliant man who will be a phenomenal Supreme Court justice. This is a very, very outstanding person with an incredible family and it would have been very unfair,” the president continued.

Trump may not know with certainty that Feinstein was the source of the leak, but the American people are nearly unified in their disapproval for how she handled the entire process.

An NPR poll from several days ago revealed that a staggeringly high 75 percent of Americans think that Feinstein should have immediately turned over the details from Blasey Ford to the rest of the Senate Judiciary Committee, instead of suspiciously hiding it until the very last minute.

Some voters went even further. “A majority of voters believe that Kavanaugh’s confirmation process was politicized and mishandled, with 69% calling it a ‘national disgrace,’” a poll from the Harvard CAPS – Harris group revealed.

Once again, liberal attempts to derail the Trump administration have backfired spectacularly … and Feinstein’s grubby fingerprints are all over this one.
