Trump Does What He Does Best, Sends Protester Packing: 'Go Back Home to Mommy'

Share

Since Donald Trump announced his run for the presidency, he’s held electrifying rallies and has shown a keen ability to deal with protesters and other ruckus-makers at those rallies.

On Monday night, Trump held a rally reminiscent of those during his 2016 presidential campaign in El Paso, Texas.

The president was in the middle of praising the VA Mission Act, which increases the ability of veterans to access private health care, when he was rudely interrupted by a protester in the crowd.

That proved to be a big mistake.

The crowd loudly booed and then began chanting “USA” as the troublemaker was removed from the rally.

“Where do these people come from? Where do they come from? They go back home to Mommy,” the president quipped. “They get punished when they get home.”

Trump is known for his hilarious way of dealing with protesters at rallies.

In January 2016 rally in Burlington, Vermont, Trump called out to security as they were escorting out protesters. “There may be a remnant,” he said.

Have you ever attended a Trump rally?

“Throw them out into the cold,” Trump suggested. “Don’t give them their coat. No coats. No coats! Confiscate their coats!”

Trump has dealt with disruptive reporters in a similar manner.

The most obvious example is CNN reporter Jim Acosta, who is notorious for being exceptionally disrespectful to the president.

Last month, Trump turned to Acosta during a media briefing and said “some people are dumb” after the journalist had unwittingly defended the border wall.

“Good job yesterday. I appreciate your salesmanship. I appreciate your salesmanship. … Some people are dumb,” he said.

Trump also criticized Acosta in November after he refused to give up his microphone during a news briefing to a young White House aide.

“I tell you what, CNN should be ashamed of itself having you working for them,” Trump told Acosta. “You are a rude, terrible person, you shouldn’t be working for CNN.”

It should go without saying that Trump’s 2020 campaign is going to be exciting.

Trump is an absolute genius when it comes to campaigning, energizing his supporters and dealing with disruptive protesters and journalists.

Democrats need to find a high-energy candidate if they want to have any chance competing with Trump.
