Donald Trump, the leading GOP contender for president, attacked conservative news commentator and TheBlaze owner Glenn Beck via Twitter, calling him “irrelevant” and claiming that he “got fired like a dog” in his latest round of tweets.
It isn’t clear what started the latest feud. According to Trump, Beck asked The Donald to be on his radio show and he refused. However, his radio show recently announced that Trump is banished from the program.
Substitute hosts Pat Gray and Stu Burguiere made the announcement on The Glenn Beck Program that it is “now 100-percent Trump free with 100 percent Less Trump.” The hosts said they are tired of Trump’s antics exhibited during his campaign.

Trump issued a retort via Twitter.
.@GlennBeck got fired like a dog by #Fox. The Blaze is failing and he wanted to have me on his show. I said no – because he is irrelevant.

“@GlennBeck got fired like a dog by #Fox. The Blaze is failing and he wanted to have me on his show. I said no – because he is irrelevant,” Trump posted. Beck isn’t letting sleeping dogs lie. He tweeted Trump back with a video of a cute puppy.

This isn’t the first time the two larger-than-life personalities had a smack-down. Trump tweeted last October that Beck was “a real nut job.”
“Wacky @glennbeck who always seems to be crying (worse than Boehner) speaks badly of me only because I refuse to do his show – a real nut job!” Trump tweeted.
TheBlaze reported that the root of Trump’s tantrum related to Beck’s statements to New York Times reporters that Trump was a “schoolyard bully” who “does not reflect the values and principles that I see from Americans on both sides.”

Trump has always taken aim at TheBlaze, stating repeatedly that it was failing. He invoked the same idea in the latest round of anti-Beck put-downs.
Beck said TheBlaze is doing just fine. He announced recently that TheBlaze TV negotiated a deal with Verizon FIOS that will make the conservative news channel available to millions of its subscribers.
According to Beck, his website is one of the most visited conservative news websites nationwide.
