Trump Steps in After Twitter Censors Angel Mom for Confronting Kamala

Share

Mary Ann Mendoza has endured more than most moms can imagine.

Her son was killed by an intoxicated illegal immigrant in a brutal head-on collision in 2014, and Mendoza quickly became an iconic angel mom.

After suffering such a personal loss, Mendoza is determined to make sure nobody meets the same fate as her son. She uses all the tools at her disposal to spread her message.

At least she did, until Twitter suspended her for violating their “standards on hate speech” following a series of tweets aimed at pro-illegal immigrant politicians.

Screenshots posted by Breitbart show how “hateful” her posts really were.

One aimed directly at California Democratic Sen. Kamala Harris demanded answers for the politician’s constant defense of illegals, but it never once strayed into “hate speech.”

“@KamalaHarris What law can I break and have you defend me so staunchly? Provide me sanctuary from our laws? Political cleanup from YOUR INACTION FOR DECADES is what it’s called,” one tweet said. “You have #bloodonyourhands for every death of an American killed by an ILLEGAL ALIEN CRIMINAL you are protecting.”

Separate tweets criticized House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California and other advocates for illegal aliens, but not a single one crossed over into “hate speech,” at least not by any stretch of the term.

By all appearances, this looks like a shameless attempt at censorship by Twitter.

Do you think Twitter should face consequences for censoring this angel mom?

And it appears President Donald Trump agrees.

On Sunday, he weighed in.

“I will help Angel Mom (and great woman) Mary Ann Mendoza with Twitter,” the president tweeted. “I know Mary Ann from the beginning, and she should never be silenced. She is a winner who has lost so much, her child. Twitter, if you’re watching, please do what you have to do, NOW!”

Although presidential support helps, Mendoza is nevertheless digging in for a fight.

The angel mom told “Fox & Friends” earlier Sunday that after her attempts to work with Twitter fell through, she may only be left with one choice: filing a lawsuit against the social media giant.

With big tech platforms under massive scrutiny thanks to a new Department of Justice antitrust investigation, now is not the time for Twitter to fight off a lawsuit where they may have to defend their arbitrary “hate speech” policies.

Speaking to American Military News this week, Mendoza revealed just how biased Twitter’s policies are.

“I’ve reported people who say to me, ‘You deserve to die the same way your son did’ — I could go on and on, it would make you vomit,” Mendoza said. “Twitter responds: ‘Just block this user so you don’t have to see their tweets anymore.’ They’ve done nothing about the threats, the disgusting ugly things people say.”

It certainly sounds like Mendoza never violated Twitter’s policy on “hate speech,” but she may have done something even more damning when it comes to longevity on Twitter — she bucked the liberal narrative and unapologetically demanded answers from those who are helping illegals commit crimes in America.
