The cable television network TLC dropped the Duggar family show, 19 Kids and Counting, from their program after it was revealed that Josh Duggar, the eldest of 19 children in the Duggar family, had molested five girls, including four of his sisters, was accused of assaulting a porn star, and was found to be a member of the adultery website, Ashley Madison. The final revelation was a fatal blow to the reality television show, and a nearly fatal blow to Josh Duggar’s marriage. Unsurprisingly, Anna Duggar, Josh’s wife, took the revelations hard.

TLC may have dumped the original Duggar show, but a spin-off has been created, titledJill & Jessa: Counting On. In thesecond episodeof the new show, Anna gives insight into how she’s dealing with her husband’s unfaithfulness:
It was definitely a hard thing. I think it is such a betrayal for a spouse to go through what we’re walking through. And, um, it was hard. It was harder to realize it was such a public thing. And so, not only was it a betrayal against me, but it was also a betrayal for those that call themselves Christians, because here we were as a Christian couple. Everyone was able to see us get married and to vow before God to be loyal to each other and that loyalty was broken. And so in my heart, it was like ‘how could this happen in our marriage?’ Josh was my first love, my one and only. But, um, I knew that my only hope was to cling to my faith because I know if I went off of what I was feeling, I would turn a mess into a disaster.
Anna explained her trust in God as she prayerfully sought wisdom and the help necessary to take steps towards healing.

Those from another reality TV show reached out with some Christian advice for Anna. From the hit show Duck Dynasty, Jase and Missy Robertson spoke out in support of Anna. They advised her that, biblically, she must forgive Josh, but she is not obligated to stay with him.
According to the Daily Mail, Anna has made her decision. Anna said, “I respect other people’s views but I vowed with God first then to Joshua till death do us part.”
