Shocking video has already emerged recorded by terrified travelers in Brussels’ Zavantem airport after a bomb ripped through the facility, reminding us all that radical Islam has declared war on the West.
The video shows the airport seconds after the blast ripped through the terminal. As smoke fills the hallways, people are seen scurrying around desperately looking for a way to escape what they could only imagine was to be more explosions.
By Tuesday morning, Americans awoke to find authorities reporting that up to 34 had been killed and perhaps as many as 180 wounded from at least three separate explosions rocking the Belgian capital of Brussels. Targets included the airport and the Maelbeek subway station.

The explosions in the airport went off right near a ticket counter.
“We were fearing terrorist attacks, and that has now happened,” Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel said at a hastily arranged press conference.

Belgian authorities had only the day before this attack warned the country of possible retaliatory attacks in the wake of the arrest of Paris Terror attack suspect Salah Abdeslam.
One of the attacks occurred only a block from the European Union’s headquarters building. The targeted subway station is close to the EU’s Berlaymont headquarters, the European Parliament and the European Council’s Justus Lipsius building in Brussels.

One witness told the media, “The metro was leaving Maelbeek station when there was a really loud explosion. It was panic everywhere. There were a lot of people in the metro.”
Some arrests have been made but authorities have not confirmed if those detained had anything to do with the attacks.
Meanwhile, as he began his speech praising the communist nation of Cuba, Obama took but a few seconds to address the Brussels attack during the speech delivered in Havana, Cuba. Obama told the world that the U.S. stands with the Belgians.
“We will do whatever is necessary to support our friend and ally Belgium in bringing to justice those who are responsible,” the president said.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump Tweeted a short message on the attacks.

Do you all remember how beautiful and safe a place Brussels was. Not anymore, it is from a different world! U.S. must be vigilant and smart!

And in an appearance on Fox News, Trump noted Brussels has gone from a great city to an “armed camp.”
“Twenty years ago, like a magical city, now you look at it its an armed camp, looking at pictures on TV now it’s horrible,” he said. “You want to lead your life, not live in armed camp, and certain group is making living a normal life impossible.”

Additionally, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz also spoke on the attacks saying that “our hearts break this morning.”
Cruz continued saying in part, “Radical Islam is at war with us,” but President Barack Obama “refuses to acknowledge this reality.” That will end, he added, with a Cruz presidency, he insisted.

“Today’s attacks in Brussels underscores this is a war,” Cruz said in a press conference carried by Fox News. “This is not a lone war. ISIS has declared jihad.”
“It is way past time we have a president who will acknowledge this evil and will call it by its name and use the full force and fury to defeat ISIS,” Cruz added. “Until they are defeated, these attacks will continue. Their target is each and every one of us.”
“We need a president who sets aside political correctness,” Cruz said. “We don’t need another lecture about Islamophobia.”
