The Reverend Franklin Graham, Billy Graham’s son and the president and CEO of Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, was recently interviewed by Fox News’ Todd Starnes regarding the Oregon school shooting.
Graham stated that Christians were martyred by the shooter. Graham noted that the shooter asked each person before he shot them if they were Christian, and, if they said yes, the shooter said “Get ready to meet your God in one second,” and then he pulled the trigger.
Graham said that not only are Christians are being martyred in the Middle East, but that they are now beginning to be martyred on U.S. soil.

He also stated that Barack Obama has been silent about domestic Christian martyrdom..
Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson recently said that if he had been asked by the shooter whether or not he was a Christian, he would have attempted to turn the tables on the attacker.
When Graham was asked by Starnes what he would have done if put in the same situation, Graham said that you don’t know until you are in that situation, and that he, like Carson, would have sought to turn the tables on the shooter.

Graham also spoke about gun control, emphasizing that murder does not require a gun and would continue to exist even if all the world’s guns were taken away.
What do you think of Franklin Graham’s response to the Oregon shooting? Has Obama been silent on the fact of Christian martyrdom on U.S. soil?
