“If our servicemen and women are experienced enough to carry a gun in a foreign land, they can damn well carry it here,” a fired-up Judge Jeanine declared on her weekend Fox News show Justice. She was reacting to the killing of five unarmed U.S. military men last week in Chattanooga, Tenn., by a cold-blooded killer who is believed to have been a radicalized Muslim who didn’t live far from the installations where he opened fire with an automatic weapon.
In the wake of the bloody rampage at two military facilities targeted by the gunman whose possible ties to, or inspiration from, ISIS are now being investigated, many people have criticized the administration’s “gun-free zone” policy at locations like those that were attacked. Judge Jeanine Pirro is among the critics of the rules that prevent uniformed service members at those facilities from being armed and able to defend themselves.
