NFL Superstar Suspended 8 Games For 'Altercations'
The NFL has suspended Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt for eight games after a video showed him kicking a woman and a separate incident where he was later involved in a fight at a resort.
The league on Friday cited a violation of its personal conduct policy “for physical altercations at his residence in Cleveland last February and at a resort in Ohio last June.”
Hunt will not be paid during the half-season suspension, which he will not appeal.

The league recently completed an investigation that included a review of law enforcement records, video and electronic communications and interviews with witnesses and Hunt.
Hunt was released last season by the Kansas City Chiefs after a video surfaced showing him pushing and kicking and pushing a woman in Cleveland.

Things for Hunt were exacerbated when another video of an altercation went viral shortly after the first video was released.
Hunt, thus far, is not being punished for incident captured in the second viral video.
The footage of Hunt’s altercation with the woman in Cleveland drew a public outcry and led to the Chiefs cutting ties with one of their best players amid a Super Bowl push.
Ultimately, the Chiefs implied that Hunt had lied about the incident to them and that was what ultimately led to his dismissal.
“We’d had some issues with Kareem not being truthful with what happened that night (in Cleveland) and we really felt in everybody’s interest we head in another direction,” Chiefs chairman Clark Hunt said shortly after releasing their prized running back.
Despite the sudden nature of the separation, the Chiefs still wished for the best for their former third-round pick.
“There was a report today that (Kareem Hunt will seek counseling),” the Chiefs chairman added. “I hope someday he can return to the National Football League. I’m not sure when that will be. But our message to him was, even though we are parting ways, we’re supportive of you. If you need help, we are here to help you.”
The Browns signed Hunt in February, saying he was remorseful.
