It took Tim Tebow a matter of seconds to make his mark on the Double-A Binghamton Rumble Ponies.

On the very first pitch he saw, the former Heisman Trophy winner ripped a three-run home run over the right field fence.

The first inning bomb put Binghamton in front 5-0 in their season opener. The Rumble Ponies held the lead the entire game, beating the Portland Sea Dogs 6-0.

Just like he did during his football career, Tebow has displayed a knack for stepping up in the big moments in his short time as a pro baseball player.

He also hit home runs in his debut games with each of his other minor league teams, the Columbia Fireflies and the St. Lucie Mets.

The Rumble Ponies continue their season on Friday with a 7:05 p.m. Eastern first pitch against Portland.
