Much of the liberal world, it seemed, couldn’t say enough yesterday in support of the unveiling of the “new” Ms. Jenner — the person who used to be Bruce, but who is now Caitlyn — who used to be one of the world’s most distinguished male athletes, but who is now among the planet’s most celebrated transgender personalities.
Monday on Western Journal, humorist and socio-political commentator Steven Crowder shared his opinion about the highly publicized move Jenner made:
Listen, I don’t begrudge Bruce Jenner for wanting to be happy. Everyone wants to be happy. The problem is that with the recent, hyper-aggressive push to normalize transgenderism, we’ll no longer be able to discuss whether some decisions made in the pursuit of happiness are healthful. Because… hate speech.

And Crowder predicted what would come to pass when he said: “Cue the social media, social justice warriors delivering the grandiose, unnecessary compliments.”
Among those quickly climbing aboard the all-hail-Caitlyn bandwagon was none other than Team Obama — Organizing for Action (OFA), the powerful political group that does Obama’s bidding via the website barackobama.com as well as the Twitter account that boasts of having close to 60 million followers.
Many, if not most, of the replies to the OFA tweets were supportive of the group’s (therefore the president’s) praise for Mr./Ms. Jenner’s radical change — one that is certainly in keeping with Obama’s notions about fundamentally transforming America. However, there were those Twitter users who didn’t fall in line alongside OFA and the organizer-in-chief, noting what they felt to be misplaced priorities.
