Woman Applies Makeup, Soon Proves She Is Clone of Mona Lisa

Share

These days, applying makeup — and doing it well — has become a true art form.

Makeup artists across the globe are able to mesmerize audiences with surprising and detailed works of art.

And whether you’re a seasoned professional when it comes to enhancing your natural features or you’ve never touched a makeup brush in your life, watching others transform a face with makeup is captivating.

Some of the most intriguing transformations are those in which artists transform their faces into those of celebrities, actors, cartoon characters, and even animals.

One such artist has recently gone viral for using makeup to transform herself into the famous Mona Lisa.

In the video, Yuka Mika, a 26-year-old makeup artist from Chongqing, China, uses some skilled contouring, blending, and a collection of products to make the Mona Lisa appear before your very eyes.

This makeup magic needs to be seen to be believed.

Mika’s work is absolutely incredible. And after watching this video, it might be easy to believe she is the very woman in the painting.

Not only does the Mika look exactly like the Mona Lisa, but her skilled art and clever hair styling makes it looks as if she, too, is a painting.

While viewers catch a glimpse of the products being used as Mika carefully maps them out on her face, it still seems impossible to have achieved the results she did with nothing more than a few brushes, some foundation, and some eye shadow.

Of course, Mika’s video is sped up to make it seem as though hours of work happened in a matter of seconds.
