Pop Star's Husband Teaches Daughter To Shoot, Preemptively Shuts Down Leftist Attacks

Share

Our culture has become so politically correct and so quick to attack that now even celebrities are taking notice. One celebrity, who recently took his daughter shooting, decided to counter anti-gun arguments before they could even be made against him.

Singer Alecia Beth Moore, known as “Pink,” is married to former professional motocross competitor Carey Hart. Hart posted on Instagram this week about teaching their young daughter, Willow, to shoot guns.

The message he included with the video clip of Willow shooting at a target made it clear Hart was accustomed to attacks from the “parent police.”

He also made it clear that such things were not going to change his beliefs about raising his children to have a proper knowledge of guns.

“Haven’t poked the parent police bear in a few days. Willz and I shooting the 22 rifle,” Hart wrote.

“She is getting pretty good. Can hit a 12 inch pie plate from 30 yards. Started her shooting at 3yrs old,” he continued.

“For the record non of us hunt, just enjoy shooting for sport. I’m raising the kids with knowledge of fire arms, how to handle them, shoot them, store them, and avoid them in uneducated hands. #knowledgeispower,” Hart concluded.

Is it okay for parents to teach young children about guns and shooting?

Some of those commenting on his post agreed with Hart’s sentiment and showed the celebrity dad some support. To one commenter who had a problem with it, Hart defended both his stance and the Second Amendment, reported USA Today.

“I hope they do mimic me! I hope they spend quality time with their kids, teach them life skills, and education,” Hart wrote.

“I’m not sure where you live, but in America fire arms are legal and not going away. So I choose to embrace it,” Hart added.

“Take the taboo out. Educate them so they don’t become a statistic. Many forms of shooting are an OLYMPIC sport,” Hart concluded.

Hart and his singer wife have previously been criticized for other parenting choices, according to Yahoo Lifestyle.

Critics slammed them for allowing their toddler to ride a dirt bike. But that isn’t the only thing they’ve been attacked for, as reported by USA Today.

They have also been slammed for “exposing (their) sick son, who had contagious hand-foot-and-mouth disease, in public.” Despite the ongoing criticisms from the “parent police,” the couple continues to live their lives as they choose and raise their children accordingly.

In fact, the day after his shooting post on Instagram, Hart mocked the parenting police with a joke involving his young son Jameson.

In this day and age, where so many kowtow to the whims of the left and political correctness, it is refreshing to see people standing up for their beliefs. For that defense to come from celebrities is even more wonderful.
