Media Refuses To Report: 5 Things Palestinians Do To Frame Israelis

Share

If you tuned into the news this week hoping to hear about the opening of the new U.S. embassy in Jerusalem, you probably had to sit through a lot of talk about the riots in Gaza first and how the embassy move precipitated them.

There’s not a whole lot new under the sun in the Israel/Palestine conflict, and riots in Gaza certainly don’t qualify as new.

Nor does the skewed reporting on them; The New York Times announced Monday that there were 2,700 people injured during the melee, with 1,350 of them from gunfire. Only much further down in the story was it revealed that those statistics came from the Hamas-controlled Health Ministry of the Palestinian Authority.

Still, any incident where over 50 lives have apparently been taken, mostly by gunfire, deserves examination. After all, what were the Palestinians doing at the border wall when they were attacked? Minding their own business? Holding up placards and singing “We Shall Overcome?”

Not quite, according to a few reports that haven’t exactly made the mainstream media’s coverage of the riots.

Let’s start with social media. A pro-Israeli Twitter account collected screenshots of pro-Palestinian Facebook accounts urging the “peaceful protesters” to do very un-peaceful things.

“Posts plastered all over Facebook instructing protesters to bring guns, knives, infiltrate Israel en masse, invade nearby villages and kidnap Israelis. Special ‘thanks’ to Facebook community standards team for enabling this,” the tweet read.

While the media didn’t necessarily comment on guns or knives being present or too many of the protesters managing to infiltrate Israel, The Times did note, “Some in the crowds were planting or hurling explosives … and many were flying flaming kites into Israel.”

Do you think the media is biased against Israel?

That wasn’t all. As Texas Sen. Ted Cruz noted, tire fires were used to cover attacks, which included pipe bombs, grenades, catapults, guns, Molotov cocktails and kites with petrol bombs — the last one with swastikas painted on them.

Given all of the injuries, you may think that any medical help would be welcomed by the Palestinian Authority. However, as the Jerusalem Post reported, Hamas turned away medical supplies from the Israelis.

“The IDF said it coordinated the transfer of eight truckloads of vital medical equipment through Israel’s Kerem Shalom crossing due to severe humanitarian conditions in the Hamas-controlled enclave, exacerbated by two days of violent clashes on the Gaza-Israel border,” Breitbart reported Wednesday.

“Hamas accepted four trucks of aid supplied by the Palestinian Authority and two trucks supplied by UNICEF, but two further truckloads of medical aid provided by the IDF were turned away when the origin of the equipment became apparent. In addition to 53 tons of medical equipment set to be transported into Gaza this week via the crossing, the increased Israeli aid included more than 14,000 units of intravenous infusions, 40 medical basins, 20 medical examination couches, 25 infusion stands, 85,000 disinfectant pads and 12,500 bandages.”

Oh, and by the way, the people who were attacking the border? As Frontpage Mag reported, many of them were paid.

Hamas had offered $100 to every rioter. During previous violent assaults back in April, the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist group had been offering $200 to anyone shot by Israelis, $500 for severe injuries and $3,000 to the dead,” Frontpage reported.

“$100 a day may not seem like a lot, but the Israeli teen soldiers they’re trying to kill, earn $13 a day.”

They weren’t the only ones reporting this, either.

Of course, you didn’t have to even be injured to help the cause. As The Times of Israel noted during a previous round of riots, video evidence seemed to prove that the rioters were using children as human shields and were faking injuries for the cameras.

In one clip, a young man is seen being carried away on a stretcher. Once he seems to be out of the reach of the media’s cameras, the young man pops up looking as hale and hearty as can be.

In another video, rioters are shown hanging around groups of children, a clear sign they’re using them as human shields.

This represents no less than five things the Gazans have done during the protests that the media simply refuse to report on. They paid their people to go to a protest where they might be killed, paid them to get injured and/or killed, set tire fires to cover their use of weapons, refused medical aid for the injured, used children as human shields and faked injuries for the benefit of the foreign press.

And despite all of this, the media continues to love the narrative that these are just peaceful protesters being fired upon indiscriminately by Israel. If you believe that, I have a peace treaty to sell you.
