Ultra-Lib Samantha Bee Rushes To Delete Post on Schneiderman Saving Us from Trump

Share

Ah, Samantha Bee. Of all of the liberal “Daily Show” alumni blotting the airwaves these days, you’re the only one with the guts and the bravery to call a cancer patient a fascist because you thought his chemo-induced haircut was actually a Nazi-inspired sartorial choice. Not even John Oliver could pull that one off. Well done.

Perhaps you think I’m being a bit petty by going back to just one mistake that the host of “Full Frontal With Samantha Bee” on TBS made over a year ago. Well, after a report from the New Yorker emerged Monday night, it turns out this wasn’t the only time Bee had a problem determining the content of someone’s character from afar.

Do you think Eric Schneiderman should face criminal charges?
As you may have heard, former New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman is now a man without an office after a report from the New Yorker’s Jane Mayer and Ronan Farrow detailed allegations against Schneiderman, including him being a controlling, abusive, alcoholic drug addict who called his Sri Lankan girlfriend his “brown slave” and slapped another girlfriend so hard it allegedly perforated her eardrum.

Schneiderman quickly issued a statement that said that “(i)n the privacy of intimate relationships, I have engaged in role-playing and other consensual sexual activity. I have not assaulted anyone. I have never engaged in nonconsensual sex, which is a line I would not cross.”

That apparently didn’t sound temporarily convincing, and several hours later, he was gone.

“While these allegations are unrelated to my professional conduct or the operations of the office, they will effectively prevent me from leading the office’s work at this critical time,” his second statement read. “I therefore resign my office, effective at the close of business on May 8, 2018.”

So, where does Bee fit into all of this? Well, according to tweets from her interview with Schneiderman, he was the “one person who can save us from Trump.”

Whoops. Apparently, the events of Monday had Bee’s Twitter team working to take that one down pretty quickly.

In all fairness, Bee was hardly the only one whose judgement wasn’t quite right when it came to Schneiderman.

While the enmity between Trump and Schneiderman began with a lawsuit filed against Trump University, the article notes that “(i)n the days since (Trump’s election), Schneiderman fired off a letter warning Trump not to drop White House support of Obama’s Clean Power Plan, introduced a bill in the state Legislature to give New Yorkers cost-free contraception if the Affordable Care Act is dismantled, threatened to sue after Trump froze EPA funding of clean air and water programs, and joined a lawsuit that argues that Trump’s executive order on immigration is not just unconstitutional and un-American, but it brings profound harm to the residents of New York State.”

Unfortunately, much like men like Anthony Weiner, Harvey Weinstein and Al Franken before him, Schneiderman’s progressive opinions didn’t stop him from being a psychopath when it came to women. No less than four women have accused Schneiderman of physically assaulting them, sometimes during sex but all without their consent.

And the abuse wasn’t all. One of his girlfriends described him as a man who “would get absolutely plastered five nights out of seven” and “literally fell on his face in my kitchen, straight down, like a tree falling.” That same girlfriend also said that Schneiderman “took prescription tranquillizers, and often asked her to refill a prescription that she had for Xanax, so that he could reserve ‘about half’ the pills for himself.”

Schneiderman also allegedly threatened the women not to leave him, telling one that “(i)f you ever left me, I’d kill you” and threatening to tap the phones of another.

But he was the only one to save us from Trump! Leader of #TheResistance! Quite the man of character, this Schneiderman.

Perhaps all of this is unfair, though. After all, if not Bee, who could have predicted that this guy would turn out to be the next in a long line of ambitious progressive degenerates?

Oh, well, there’s that.

Let’s face it — from all outward appearances, Schneiderman was little more than another opportunist and progressive social climber who hoped to grab the governor’s office by continuing his holy jihad on Trump now that he had become president. Everyone, including Bee, ought to have seen that coming.

The fact that he turned out to be an abuser may have a bit of a stretch if you weren’t in on the secret, but the fact that he’s an amoral, entitled criminal hypocrite ought to have been apparent to everyone.
