Dog Can't Control Himself Moment School Bus Passes Through Neighborhood Every Day

Share

When’s the last time you felt absolutely overwhelmed with enthusiasm? We’re talking so excited that you dropped whatever you were doing, and started whirling and sprinting across the front lawn?

If most adults are honest, they need to think all the way back to childhood for the answer.

Of course, even as a grownup it’s still pretty entertaining to watch our animal friends act out this level of unrestrained joy.

According to a Facebook post shared by Tony Benson King, his aunt did something very sweet after his mother, Faye Bunting King Austin, passed away last summer.

Deb Bunting Murray adopted her sister Faye’s dog, Charlie.

It seems little Charlie has since developed sort of a thing for the local school bus. Every day when the bus passes Murray’s home in the picturesque North Carolina town of Asheboro, it apparently makes Charlie’s day.

How do we know? Well, let’s just say Charlie isn’t exactly shy about hiding his feelings on the matter.

Murray recently shared some adorable video footage with local WGHP FOX8 news personality Chad Tucker.

This award-winning regional journalist is a well-known animal advocate.

Charlie’s adoptive mom felt that Tucker and his viewers might appreciate her pup’s entertaining antics. After all, Tucker himself is “pet parent” to rescue dogs Otis and Lucy.

Murray’s note to Tucker explained that Charlie always barks at the school bus as it drives by, and then he waits for it to come back.

“When he hears it, he starts spinning around,” she explained.

“The kids on the bus love to see him as much as he loves to see them,” added Murray. Unsurprisingly, the anchorman was thrilled to share the heartwarming video snippet.

Murray’s husband, Johnny, summarized Charlie’s elated reaction for media outlets. When the pooch starts hearing the bus, Johnny said, “those ears perk up and he takes off running.”

According to Johnny, this cute reaction has brought much laughter to the Murray household during an incredibly difficult time.

Charlie has also brought a lot of happiness to community schoolchildren — not to mention a fast-growing social media fan base.
