Employee of Pro-Squad News Group Mocks Crenshaw's Injury, Celebrates 9/11

An employee of a far-left media outlet is under fire for making grotesque statements about the worst terror attack in American history and directing sick insults toward a military veteran wounded overseas.

Hasan Piker made the vulgar comments in response to Texas Republican Rep. Dan Crenshaw’s appearance on “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast earlier this week.

Some are calling for Piker to be fired from his job at The Young Turks, a so-called news organization that publishes articles and videos from a far-left point of view.

WARNING: The tweets below contain profane language that some readers may find offensive. Viewer discretion is advised.

For instance, the group posts supportive and positive material pertaining to members of the “squad,” which consists of four liberal Democrats engaged in a feud with President Donald Trump.

Even in the context of the material TYT regularly publishes, Piker’s comments are extraordinarily immature and hateful.

Piker made fun of Crenshaw’s eye injury, a wound sustained in an attack involving an improvised explosive device, and attributed it to a “brave f—ing” terrorist.

Should Hasan Piker be fired?

Piker wasn’t content making fun of a wounded Navy SEAL, either.

Continuing his rant, he even targeted the nearly 3,000 Americans who died in the Sept. 11 terror attacks.

According to Piker, America “deserved” the horrific 9/11 attacks.

“America deserved 9/11, dude,” he said.

To think any innocent civilian “deserved” to die in a burning skyscraper soaked in jet fuel is a new low.

When the towers fell, police and firemen who selflessly rushed inside were killed along with those they were trying to rescue.

Did they “deserve” to die?

Although TYT describes Piker as a “political commentator” who excels in “breaking down the corruption and hypocrisies of US politics,” it seems he is just a bully content with saying these horrible and hateful words.
