If you pay any attention to the news or politics at all, you’ve no doubt heard some variation of this phrase from the left recently: “Both sides need to cool this rhetoric down.”
It’s become a popular bit of verbiage following the tragic political assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk on Sept. 10, while he was speaking at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.
And yet, despite those calls — from the left, again — to turn the temperature down, the inflammatory rhetoric from the leftist establishment media has hardly abated.
