Photos: Israelis Celebrate Trump After Historic Peace Deal

News of a potential peace deal to end the war in Gaza first broke when Secretary of State Marco Rubio interrupted a Wednesday White House roundtable to hand President Trump a note sharing the news.
On Thursday, following news that a ceasefire had been reached, Israelis took to Hostages Square in Tel Aviv, Israel to celebrate the news. Many of those involved praised the efforts of President Trump when it came to getting the deal done.
One person celebrating the peace deal alongside other Israeli citizens in Tel Aviv was wearing a Donald Trump mask and costume while waving an American flag.
One billboard in Jerusalem on Oct. 10, 2025, following the historic peace deal between Israel and Hamas refers to President Trump as "Cyrus the Great."
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and others, previously compared President Trump to Cyrus the Great, an ancient Persian King who Jewish tradition treats as a "pagan agent of God's divine plan for Jews to return to the Land of Israel from their exile in Babylon."
Another billboard, this one seen in Tel Aviv, reads "Thank You Mr. President" with a picture of President Donald Trump following the historic Israel-Hamas peace deal.
