A viral video featuring four generations of a Chinese family has become a hit, spreading quickly and picking up speed across the world.

Could you or anyone you know do the Four Generation Challenge?

According to the video shared by South China Morning Post, the original video with a sweet Chinese grandmother is what made people want to participate in the challenge themselves.

Now people are filming their own videos, re-enacting the scene from the original in which one family member from each generation walks out, each saying “mom” (or dad) in their own language.

Dads and sons are getting in on the challenge, too. Whether showcasing their generations through videos or photos, one thing is certain: These families have something so special and rare.

The grandparents and great grandparents, in particular, have the chance to impact the younger generations of their family.

We can’t get enough of these sweet photos and videos. Of course, these make us want to do a version with our own families.

Some families even appear to have gone as far as to get professional photos taken as a keepsake that will last for years to come.

We’re loving every minute of these sweet moments. What about you? Have you thought about participating in this challenge?

Even if you don’t have four generations, two or three would still be a wonderful and fun memory. Then again, maybe you have more than four! No matter the size of your family, we hope you cherish every minute you have with them, young and old.
