RETRACTED: Watch: Joe Biden Tells Voters That He Is Going To Beat Himself in the 2020 Election

Share

RETRACTED, June 2, 2020: The Western Journal has retracted this article after the wording of the statement made by former Vice President Joe Biden was called into question. According to the Biden campaign, the candidate said that he would “be Joe Biden,” not that he would “beat Joe Biden.” The transcript of the CNBC video on YouTube indicated that Biden had said “I’m going to beat Joe Biden,” but the explanation from the Biden campaign makes sense in context, though it’s difficult to determine exactly what he said even after repeated viewings of the video. However, even if Biden did say “beat,” it would appear to be nothing more than a slip of the tongue in this instance, and not worthy of coverage by The Western Journal. We apologize to our readers and to Mr. Biden for the error.
