Confirmed: Terror Organization Paid, Gave Over $600k to Help Abdul El-Sayed for Senate
It’s not a good look when you’re caught taking over $600,000 from a political action committee which is linked to a group designated a terrorist organization. Yet that’s precisely the predicament in which Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed finds himself.
The latest Federal Elections Commission report shows that the Unity and Justice Fund has paid another $400,000 to canvassing services for El-Sayed for the general election after giving $175,000 to his PAC and tens of thousands for canvassing and printing services in his primary run.
The Unity and Justice Fund is a PAC that several sources have linked to the Council on American-Islamic Relations, a group listed as a terrorist organization by two U.S. states, the United Arab Emirates, and other bodies.
