Acting Planned Parenthood Head Denies It Is Political Despite Firing of Last Pres
The pro-abortion movement is no stranger to misinformation and misdirection, and the new acting head of Planned Parenthood added to that deception in an interview with CBS News published July 30.
Acting director Alexis McGill Johnson claimed that the organization was “not political by nature” while asserting that the most prolific baby-killing machine in the country was instead “a health care provider.”
This is an odd stance for Johnson to take, considering that she only has the job because her predecessor, a physician, was fired for not being political enough.

In her statement regarding her employment being aborted, Dr. Leana Wen made it clear that she “believe[s] that the best way to protect abortion care is to be clear that it is not a political issue.” Never addressing that “abortion care” is an oxymoron, she went on to say she was fired because of “philosophical differences over the direction and future of Planned Parenthood.”
When you put two and two together, you can see it’s pretty obvious that Planned Parenthood seems more interested in politics and abortion than health care. What kind of nonpolitical organization would have a wing known as Planned Parenthood Action? Not many do.
This should come as no surprise, as the abortion lobby is known for twisting the language so that they can control the narrative. They call unborn children “pregnancy tissue,” whatever on earth that means. They call the act of killing babies “reproductive health care,” an ironic term that assumes the natural biological process of having children is unhealthy.
Of course, they know they’re political, just like these doctors know that they’re snuffing out a human life. It’s simply a smoke-and-mirrors act to gain sympathy from people with moderate views on abortion. It’s also another addition to the left’s long list of double standards.
How so? Well, the left thinks the NRA is a political group. Don’t take my word for it, just let presidential candidates Kirsten Gillibrand or Cory Booker tell you.
The point is, the left likes to call Planned Parenthood apolitical while treating the gun lobby as a shadowy bogeyman holding Washington hostage with its infinitely deep pockets.
This is quite absurd when you look at the numbers. This century, there have been exactly 10 federal election cycles.
The NRA has given about $10 million in campaign contributions to federal candidates across those elections, according to Open Secrets. Planned Parenthood, during those same elections, gave around $6 million. Fairly similar totals.
In the last cycle, Planned Parenthood’s contributions to outside groups were more than seven times that of the NRA, while the NRA spent more on lobbying. In fact, in 2018, the two organizations were ranked right next to each other (numbers 21 and 22) in terms of groups with the most outside spending.
These entities obviously have political goals that they seek to accomplish via spending. They’re similar in that they’re both political.
The difference is, I have no problem calling the NRA a political group. I just support it because I agree with the basic premise of what the group stands for. And it’s nice that the NRA, unlike Planned Parenthood, doesn’t murder kids.
The left, on the other hand, insists on peddling misinformation. Leftists know that if the American people knew exactly what the abortion lobby is, support would dwindle.
Fortunately, this mask is coming off, and many conservative lawmakers have finally shown that they have the guts to push back against the barbaric leftist sacrament of abortion.
I am confident that in the future, our descendants will gasp in horror when they read in the history books that it was once legal in this great country to kill your child on a whim, the same way this generation reacts to slavery.
Here’s to hoping we’ll be the ones to make that history.
