Insanity: LGBT Activists Slam Children's Charity Race Because of Chick-fil-A Sponsorship
It would be hard for most people to attack a charity race for children, but left-wing LGBT activists have found a way.
Pittsburgh Three Rivers Marathon announced their partnership with Chick-fil-A last month in order to help promote quality nutrition and active lifestyles for children.
In an event on Tuesday to celebrate the partnership, Chick-fil-A provided children with free water bottles and promotional cards which could be redeemed for items on the menu.
Children also had the opportunity to take pictures with Chick-fil-A’s mascot.

It seems like good wholesome fun for the children involved — but left-wing LGBT activists want it to end.
Sue Kerr, the kind of Twitter user who puts their preferred pronouns in their bio, attacked the event for children.
“LGBTQ youth & youth from non-Christian faiths deserve better,” Kerr wrote on Twitter.

We’re talking about young kids here. I’m not sure if “LGBTQ youth” applies to 7-year-old kids.
However, it wasn’t enough for Kerr to complain on Twitter. She took the time to create a petition in opposition to the partnership.
Unfortunately for Kerr, the petition only has around 700 signatures after posting about it on her blog and begging her Twitter followers to sign it multiple times per day.

The petition was also shared by LQBTQ news sites.

In the petition, Kerr characterizes Chick-fil-A as a “homophobic and transphobic business” and offers some more words about children.
“We must reject attempts to normalize homophobia and transphobia for our children,” the activist said.
It’s kind of creepy how bad Kerr wants to push her LGBT agenda on children. Why can’t the children just have fun in a marathon and eat some chicken sandwiches instead of having to think about LGBT issues?
I guess I shouldn’t be surprised at Kerr’s insistence on pushing her agenda on children considering Kerr writes about parents of “nonbinary children” and 14-year-old transgender girl scouts on her blog.
Ironically, Kerr thinks that Christians are the ones who shouldn’t be around children.
“I also think it is highly inappropriate for any Christian organization or business to eagerly jump into anything to do with youth and children right now,” Kerr wrote, citing controversies in the Catholic church.
It’s lazy of Kerr to put all Christians in the same boat because of the bad actions of some Catholic leaders.
I think most parents would agree that they’d trust their children with their local church over a blogger who writes about transgender children.
Despite Kerr’s screeching about “LGBTQ youth,” the organization assured everyone that anybody is allowed to participate in their marathons.
“P3R strives to be inclusive of any and all members of the Pittsburgh community, and we have and will continue to be accepting of any individual or family who wants to participate in our events,” the marathon wrote in a statement.

The marathon also emphasized how the partnership with Chick-fil-A will help more children.
“This partnership with Chick-fil-A will help us ensure even more children in southwestern Pennsylvania can learn and share in our love of running,” they wrote.
This entire situation shows how insane the left has become.
The marathon’s partnership will objectively help more children … but the left just can’t seem to stop screaming about transphobia.
