Al Sharpton Weighs In on Royal Wedding with Kookiest Theory You've Ever Heard

Share

There are certain individuals in our society who simply can’t help but inject race and racism into virtually any and every topic, and Al Sharpton is the epitome of such people.

For example, look at his thoughts on the royal wedding this weekend between the United Kingdom’s Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, which Sharpton cited as evidence that “white male supremacy” was breathing its “last breath,” according to the New York Daily News.

Sharpton, in an address during his weekly National Action Network rally in Harlem, keyed in on the fact that Markle is biracial, with a black mother and white father.

“When you got little white girls in Wales saying, ‘I want to be like Meghan,’ there’s a shift worldwide that white male supremacy is on its last breath,” said the quintessential race-baiter.

“When you have little white girls in Arkansas look up and say, ‘I want to be beautiful and smart like Michelle Obama. I want to dress like the Obama girls (Sasha and Malia),’ that’s where that white supremacy is questioned,” he added.

Of course, what would a Sharpton speech be without bashing President Donald Trump as a racist? Have no fear, for he did just that.

“White parents in their living room say, ‘We’ve got to do something,'” Sharpton said. “That’s what Trump played on. ‘We’re losing control of our own children.'”

As if asserting that a royal British wedding had any bearing whatsoever on “white male supremacy” wasn’t kooky enough, Sharpton descended even further into racial absurdity to reference a conspiracy theory that the British monarchy long ago had hidden the fact there was an African-descendant among the royal family.

“They hid the fact that there was an African-blooded queen 57 years married to King George III, named Sophie Charlotte,” Sharpton said. “But Meghan is too well-known. Y’all ain’t gonna hide Meghan. In fact, she brought mama there so y’all can’t.”

Did you pay any attention to Meghan Markle's race in terms of her marriage to Prince Harry?

That line was in reference to the attendance at the royal wedding of Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, who was graciously hosted as an honored guest and even sat for tea with the royal family on Friday, which is exactly what one would expect from a “white supremacist” royal family that hates black people, right?

Yeah, the royal family is so racist that they also featured a black American bishop from Chicago as part of the royal wedding ceremony, as well as a black choir which sang songs made famous by black musicians.

Sharpton said white supremacists were “losing their minds” in regard to the royal wedding and the apparent muddying of the lines between the separate races — which is pretty much the first any of us have heard of such a thing, since biracial couples have been a widely accepted thing by most people for decades.

“They’re losing their minds because the world is passing away where they are the standard,” Sharpton said of white supremacists. “Where they decide what is beauty, where they decide what is of intellectual depth.”

From here, it looks like the only people “losing their minds” are the perpetual race-baiters like Sharpton, as this widely accepted royal wedding pretty much destroys the need for his constant agitation on racial issues that have largely been settled among most people.

It also appears the only person who is out of their “intellectual depth” is Sharpton himself, but that is nothing new.

The only people who really care one iota about the racial aspects of Prince Harry’s marriage to Meghan Markle are race-obsessed frauds like Sharpton, and the more people ignore (or mock) the ridiculous things he says about race and racism, the better off our society will be.
