How the Mighty Have Fallen: Hillary Clinton Shows Up in Apparent Hospital Gown To Bash Trump
In politics, bad optics can drown the best message.
So when Hillary Clinton showed up in New York’s Central Park on Saturday looking for all the world like she’d just rolled out of a hospital bed, seemingly wearing one of those gowns with the strings that tie in the back, the optics weren’t just bad.
They were downright awful.
The former first lady, junior senator from New York, secretary of state and the 2016 Democrat standard-bearer looked nothing like a woman who should at work in the Oval Office right now, cementing the legacy of Barack Obama’s dismal eight years in office by carrying on the progressive agenda into the future.
She looked instead like she’d just been discharged from one of the Big Apple’s more downscale hospitals, and somehow ended up on a stage in front of thousands of people by some hideous mistake.
Frankly, the pantsuits Hillary had made her signature look during a lifetime in politics might have been horrendous, but they would have been a vast improvement over Clinton’s outfit for New York’s annual Ozy Fest:

What Clinton actually had to say wasn’t a whole lot more confidence-inspiring than her appearance.
Naturally, she tried to bash President Donald Trump over hot-button issues like the controversy over dealing with illegal immigrants and complaining about last week’s summit between Trump and Russian leader Vladimir Putin, according to The Associated Press.
She appeared to offering travel help to illegal alien families that were separated because adults who are facing criminal prosecution – as illegal aliens should be – tend to be separated from children who aren’t facing criminal charges.
(Considering the Clintons’ record of charitable giving, the illegal aliens might be better off waiting to see the money before banking on a plane ticket.)
She also tried a jibe at Trump for what might have taken place while he met with Putin privately in Helsinki on Monday.
“The great mystery is why the president has not spoken up for our country and we saw that most clearly in this recent meeting with Putin,” she said.
Actually, a great mystery is why Democrats think anyone serious would ever consider them to be credible judges on what constitutes a good idea for national security. And Clinton’s personal history in that regard is even worse than normal for her party.
But the biggest mystery is why anyone in Clinton’s camp thought it would be a good idea to let her appear in public looking like an escapee from a secured mental ward.

In all seriousness, Hillary Clinton has been called many, many names in her life, but “stupid” has never been one of them.
And the Clintons didn’t build a first-class, corrupt “charity” by handing political enemies ammunition like Hillary did on Saturday.
Given that the former Democrat candidate clearly chose to be in front of a crowd looking like she should only be seeing people during visiting hours in the convalescent unit, it might be the best sign yet that there really is something wrong with her that Team Clinton has been covering up.
Because the optics here drowned out any kind of message she was hoping to convey.
