Miracle: ISIS Covered Christian in 20 Gallons of Gas and Lit on Fire 3 Times, But He Never Burned - Report

Share

While many of us have been “through the fire and flames” at different points in our lives, one Iraqi Christian seems to have been forced into making the age-old adage his reality.

And he lives to tell the tale.

According to a new documentary by Sean Feucht and Bethel Music, an unnamed Yazidi man claims to have not been burned after Islamic State militants set him ablaze.

“The Yazidis… were really targeted by ISIS for genocide … they were raped, they were beaten, they were executed,” Feucht told Fox News. He helps victims of terrorism around the world through his nonprofit Light A Candle project. “ISIS didn’t even want to imprison them, they just wanted to kill them, wipe them off the map.”

That’s what the Islamic State group attempted to do to a Yazidi man they discovered to be a follower of Christ. The persecuted Christian says that during the two months the Islamic State group imprisoned and tortured him, his body was doused with 20 gallons of gasoline and set on fire.

“And they burned me, but I didn’t burn,” he said.

The Yazidi man credited Jesus for his survival, saying, “He spoke to me” in various dreams.

In the interview, Feucht said: “Jesus appeared twice to you in a dream because He loves you.”

Many individuals have said this testimonial reminds them of Isaiah 43:2, which says, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.”

The Islamic State group is well-known for brutality.

One survivor of a mass execution told the National Review of the Islamic State group’s approach, which is eerily similar to what Nazis did during their prime in World War II.

“They took us to pits on the farm that were supposed to be our graves … They threw us down there in shifts. Every fifteen minutes they would lower down about a dozen men … and open fire on them,” the survivor said.

Do you think the Yazidi man's story is a miracle?

“They arranged us into rows, telling us to line up next to each other so it would be easier for them to shoot us. My brother was in the first shift. My other brother was in the second shift. I was in the third. I knew everyone down there with me; they were my neighbours and friends.”

This is what true evil looks like.

Trump’s effort to eliminate the Islamic State group has been a success thus far, reducing its foothold on the Middle East. While there’s still a long road ahead, miraculous stories from persecuted Christians are a big part of the fight against the wicked Islamic State group.
