Police Records Now Confirm What Happened at Tucker's House That Night... We Were Right

Share

The conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch has revealed the police incident report from when an antifa-related group attacked the house of Fox News host Tucker Carlson — and, lo and behold, it confirms what we’ve suspected since the incident.

According to the group, Judicial Watch obtained the reports via a Freedom of Information Act request.

“Judicial Watch today released a police incident report from the November 2018 attack on the home of Fox News host Tucker Carlson by the Antifa-linked group Smash Racism DC,” a Monday news release stated.

The release then quotes from the Washington, D.C., Metropolitan Police Department report about the Nov. 7 attack, which took place at night, while Carlson’s wife, Susie, was home alone.

“On the listed date, (Susie Carlson) heard loud banging and pounding on her front door,” it reads.

“(Susie Carlson) went to investigate and saw a large group in front of her home. They had a bull horn and were chanting loudly. She retreated to a room in the rear of her home and summoned police.

“MPD arrived on scene and found a group of approximately 20 people. It was discovered that unknown persons spray painted an anarchy symbol on the driveway. There were also signs left on the vehicles parked in the driveway as well as a sign left on the front door of the home. The signs made reference to (Tucker Carlson’s) political affiliation.”

The Judicial Watch report noted that the police classified the incident as “‘suspected hate crime’ with the ‘hate bias/motivation’ being ‘anti-political.'”

“Also, the report says that six ‘hand-written posters’ were seized as evidence,” Judicial Watch stated. “A handwritten note included with the report says that the ‘suspected group is Smash Racism DC.’”

Do you think that this should be prosecuted as a hate crime?

The report seems to match up with what the Fox News host told The Washington Post.

“I called my wife,” Carlson told the paper after the November incident.

“She had been in the kitchen alone getting ready to go to dinner and she heard pounding on the front door and screaming. … Someone started throwing himself against the front door and actually cracked the front door.”

“’Tucker Carlson, we are outside your home,’ one person could be heard saying in the since-deleted video,” the story continued.

“The person, using a bullhorn, accused Carlson of ‘promoting hate’ and ‘an ideology that has led to thousands of people dying.’

“’We want you to know, we know where you sleep at night,’ the person concluded, before leading the group to chant, ‘Tucker Carlson, we will fight! We know where you sleep at night!'”

The piece also noted that protesters “blocked off both ends of his street and carried signs that listed his home address. The group called Carlson a ‘racist scumbag’ and demanded that he “leave town,” according to posts on Twitter. A woman was also overheard in one of the deleted videos saying she wanted to ‘bring a pipe bomb’ to his house, he said.”

“It wasn’t a protest. It was a threat,” Carlson told the Post.

“They weren’t protesting anything specific that I had said. They weren’t asking me to change anything. They weren’t protesting a policy or advocating for legislation. … They were threatening me and my family and telling me to leave my own neighborhood in the city that I grew up in.”

That, apparently, wasn’t an exaggeration.

As The Western Journal reported at the time, the group Smash Racism DC’s action at Carlson’s home that night was an example of the extreme left antifa movement openly threatening violence against the home of a man they disagree with politically.

The police reports seem to prove that.

And yet, the mainstream media has largely forgotten about the attack — or done its best to have Americans at large forget about it.

What would have happened if this were a group of fringe tea party supporters behaving like this? We don’t know, since this hasn’t happened. However, we can be sure the outcry would be swift and all-pervasive.

On this suspected hate crime, however?

Crickets. What a surprise.
