Women's March Protester Arrested for Sexually Abusing Infowars Reporter

Share

The Women’s March and the entire “MeToo” movement is supposedly about equality — but it looks like some of its most vocal participants don’t think they should be held to the same standards as men.

A feminist who was participating in the Women’s March in Washington has been arrested after she sexually assaulted a male reporter on camera, and then laughed it off.

“Isabel O’Shaughnessy, 21, was charged with misdemeanor sex abuse, and a police spokesman said she surrendered Wednesday. A Superior Court judge released her pending her next court appearance March 14,” reported The Washington Post.

In a video that has since gone viral online, a reporter for the conspiracy site Infowars named Owen Shroyer was conducting a man-on-the-street interview when the feminist protester grabbed him by the genitals.

The video suggests that she thought groping the man was humorous and that there would be no repercussions.

She was wrong.

“I just grabbed you by the (genitals),” the woman can be heard proudly declaring on camera. Shroyer maintained his cool but quickly addressed what happened.

Was the woman's arrest justified?

“She just grabbed my (genitals), is that sexual assault?” he asked. “Yes,” O’Shaughnessy readily confirmed into the microphone.

“You just sexually assaulted me,” Shroyer continued.

“I did assault you,” the feminist again confirmed in a smug tone. “Arrest me.”

Shroyer quickly pointed out that the woman was using “privilege” herself to blatantly assault someone in broad daylight while believing she would get away with it.

According to The Post, O’Shaughnessy was identified by police as a student at Catholic University of America. You’d think that a student at a private college would have a basic understanding of laws or personal responsibility, but apparently not.

Bizarrely, even though the video clearly shows the feminist admitting that she had just sexually assaulted the reporter, she then tried to deny what happened to authorities.

“In an interview with police, she said she ‘inadvertently brushed up against him’ and that he took her comments out of context in what was an ’emotionally charged situation,'” The Post stated.

Ah, the classic “my hand slipped” excuse. Yes, we’re supposed to believe that video of her openly bragging about a sexual assault and goading the male reporter into having her arrested was just a big misunderstanding.

Meanwhile, a conservative teenager had his life torn apart and his school threatened with violence after he had the audacity to … well, stand while smiling. The establishment media spilled a great deal of ink flying into an outrage over that, but has surprisingly little to say when a liberal actually assaults somebody on camera.

While Infowars has rightly earned a reputation as an outlet built on conspiracy theories and exaggerations, their reporter handled this very well. As the video shows, he was simply exercising free speech — the right of all Americans no matter where they fall on the political spectrum — when a feminist proved his entire point.

Shroyer is right: It’s absolutely ridiculous for leftist women like O’Shaughnessy to claim that men have vast “privilege,” but then to turn around and use her own privilege to sexually assault someone with impunity.

Even if she was badly trying to make a point, two wrongs do not make a right. Raping somebody to show that rape is wrong is absolutely insane; so is grabbing a person’s genitals without consent in a twisted attempt to shame that very behavior.

True equality means that individuals are treated the same in the eyes of the law. If that’s what O’Shaughnessy was marching for, she got what she demanded: The law is now coming down on her hard for violating another person’s body. Welcome to reality.
