Deep Dive: Massie's Impeachment Orders Against Hegseth Are Out, and Massie Has Embarrassed Himself
Now that he’s lost a Republican primary because he’s effectively a Democrat, Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie is determined to go out on his own terms. If only that were a good thing.
Massie has long marched to the beat of his own drum within the Republican caucus, and this was tolerated within limits. However, one managed to detect a certain cadence to the beat that was distressing.
He seemed to align with America’s foreign enemies too often, particularly when those enemies had an animus against Israel. He was a non-interventionist, to the point of trying to deny military aid to an American ally who was attacked by a terrorist force … provided that American ally was the only Jewish state in the world.
