Fmr. CIA Director Gets Wrecked By High Schooler After Posting Fake News Piece Defending Strzok

Share

Americans often take it for granted that the people in upper echelons of power are competent and trustworthy … but it might be time to start re-evaluating that assumption.

Most people presume that top agents and officials within the FBI, for example, are skilled experts who carry out their duties with professionalism and candor.

Yet the recent scandals involving former FBI Director James Comey and disgraced agent Peter Strzok have revealed pettiness and unprofessionalism which brings their competence into question.

Over at the CIA, it may be the same story. Again, the American people generally trust that top intelligence officials are, well, intelligent. When the Obama-era spy chief is made to look like a fool by a bright teenager on Twitter, though, it’s time to ask some tough questions.

On July 12, former CIA Director John Brennan spoke up in defense of Strzok, who recently testified in front of Congress to answer questions about his biased anti-Trump text messages exchanged with his illicit lover, a female FBI employee.

Strzok had his security clearance revoked and was taken off of key investigations after the evidence of his political bias was revealed. Messages hinting at a focused effort to undermine now-President Donald Trump have come to light, souring the agent’s career.

You might think this kind of behavior is exactly what an administrator like Brennan, who ran the CIA for four years during the Obama years, would find unacceptable. You’d be wrong.

“Watching the spectacle of the House ‘hearing’ with Peter Strzok today, I was reminded of the words of Abraham Lincoln: ‘America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves,'” the former director posted.

Do you believe Brennan was part of the Washington insiders who tried to trip up Trump?
He seemed to be defending Strzok against Republican congressmen who were doing their jobs by digging into the extent of bias at the FBI. That’s a questionable position to begin with, but it gets worse: Lincoln never said that, and Brennan was spreading a fake quote.

“Lincoln said no such thing,” scolded teenager Kyle Kashuv on Twitter.

Kashuv’s the Parkland school shooting survivor who is most known for defending the Second Amendment against liberals like David Hogg.

“You’re just upset that the kakistocracy you were a part of that was collapsing after its lamentable journey is no longer collapsing because we don’t have HRC as POTUS,” Kashuv continued.

He linked to a source confirming that the Lincoln quote was literally “fake news” — the famous president simply never said those words.

That means that Brennan, whose job at the head of the CIA was to be as accurate and informed as possible, swallowed a false quote hook, line and sinker, and didn’t bother doing a Google search to confirm it.

Kashuv’s response touched on something the Obama-era director would rather not talk about: There’s evidence that he was part of the same biased “swamp” that Comey and Strzok also inhabited, playing biased politics instead of focusing on being professional.

Insiders including former U.S. Attorney Joe DiGenova believe that Brennan played a key role in an effort to undermine then-candidate Trump during the last months of the Obama administration.

“It was abundantly clear that there was no legitimate basis even for a counter intelligence investigation, let alone a criminal investigation,” DiGenova said in May, referring to the debunked “Russian dossier” and related wiretapping that now seems like an attempt to take down the Republican president.

“It is quite obvious that John Brennan was at the head of the group of people who were going to create a counter intelligence investigation against Trump by creating false information that was going to be fed through Carter Page, and fed through George Papadopoulos so that it would be picked up, reported back to Washington and provide the basis for a counter, a fake, counter intelligence investigation,” DiGenova continued.

“And it was all Brennan’s doing,” he concluded.

If that’s true, then no wonder Brennan is working overtime to protect Strzok. They were on the same anti-Trump team … but those unelected busy-bodies didn’t seem to plan on facing the American people and answering for their actions.
