Viral Romance Blossoms During Flight After Passenger Switches Seats with Stranger

Share

Apparently, love is in the air. Some viral tweets have caused quite a stir on social media, and they’re centered around a supposed modern-day fairy tale.

Rosey Blair, a.k.a. @roseybeeme on Twitter, and her boyfriend, Houston Hardaway, had no problem asking a single woman to switch seats so the couple could sit beside each other on their Alaska Airlines flight.

The trip from Dallas to New York would take hours. The single woman gave up her seat without question, but it’s what occurred after the switch that has everyone tweeting.

A man sat down next to the woman, and just moments into the flight, Blair and Hardaway couldn’t help but notice the pair immediately hit it off.

“I hope they get to fall in love!” Blair wrote on her first live tweet. Her post has since been retweeted over 2,000 times.

What ensued afterward was a series of updates from Blair, who can claim over 60,000 Twitter followers to her name.

The plus-size fashion actress and photographer can also be found on Instagram, where she posts her stunning, body-embracing pictures.

“My perspective is this: open your eyes up to possibility and you may see it all around you,” she wrote in a recent caption on Instagram.

Her tweets have been met with both praise and skepticism. Some are wondering if the live romance Blair captured is even real.

And who can blame them? The photos Blair took on the plane only show things from her perspective.

Yet, it’s hard to deny something definitely sparked since the man affectionately known as “plane bae” consented to an interview.

Do you think this woman was right to live tweet the romantic encounter?

Euan Holden shared the seat opposite the mystery woman. While she has chosen to keep her identity private, Holden has shared, “She’s a very, very, very lovely girl.”

According to Blair’s tweets, Holden and the woman only known as “Helen” have a lot in common, sharing an interest in fitness and healthy eating.

Still, one has to wonder if this is a case of matchmaking or invasion of privacy. Holden has thanked his followers for “respecting Helen’s privacy” and told them “she’s being super supportive.”

Whether or not Blair was right to live tweet Holden and Helen’s encounter without permission is up for debate.

But, what’s done is done and the new “couple” can only move forward from here. Despite the hype over their match made in heaven — or just below, as the case may be — Holden and Helen will need time away from the spotlight in order for their potential fairy tale to truly take flight.
