Watch: Talented Magician Blows 'AGT' Judges' Minds with Insane Sleight of Hand

Share

Every year, “America’s Got Talent” brings us the truly amazing and remarkable. From children’s choirs to daring trapeze acts, “AGT” is the only show around with this much variety.

Now in its 13th season, the judges have seen it all. So when an act can surprise and astound them, you know a star has been born.

What’s perhaps the best thing about this show is the uniqueness it brings to the table. Performers are expected to think outside the box.

Singers are expected to do something different. Magicians are supposed to try something the judges haven’t witnessed a million times before.

Card tricks are usually a dime a dozen. It’s the oldest magic in the book … except when it comes to sleight of hand performer, Shin Lim.

The first time we saw Shin on “AGT”, he wooed the audience and Tyra Banks, with his blank, and even completely transparent deck of cards.

There’s no question as to why all the judges voted him through. But “AGT” is about stepping up your game. Did Shin have what it takes to wow everyone during Judge Cuts?

You decide. Watch as this amazing close-up magician seamlessly performs his trick right in front of special guest judge, Olivia Munn.

You won’t believe your eyes as you witness the complexity, and duplicity, of this jaw-dropping magic trick.

I think Heidi Klum said it best in the end when she told Shin, “Honestly, out of all the magicians out there, you’re the only one that actually makes me believe that magic can be possible.”

This guy’s definitely giving the other magicians in the competition a run for their money. But this isn’t the first time Shin has performed for an audience.

In 2015 he fooled the brilliant minds of Penn and Teller on “Fool Us.” More recently he was given the Merlin Award for best close-up magician of the year.

What’s even more amazing is that Shin suffers from carpal tunnel syndrome which affects the nerves in both of his hands.

The pain forced Shin to decide between magic and the piano. Though he gave up the latter, his love of music still shines through as he synchronizes every performance to a perfectly selected soundtrack.

I, for one, am glad he chose magic. He’s easy to watch again and again. I’ll definitely be rooting for him during the live shows.
