Lamar Jackson Rolls Out $100k Diamond Chain, Immortalizes Iconic Play
It looks like the extra money that Lamar Jackson saved by acting as his own agent has been put to use.
Jackson has purchased a custom-made $100,000 chain that commemorates one of his most iconic plays while at Louisville.
The chain comes courtesy of Stacks Custom Jewelry, which is based in South Florida, where Jackson is from. The jeweler made a chain of him leaping through the air and hurdling a player, just as he did in a memorable play against Syracuse during his Heisman-winning sophomore season.

According to TMZ, the chain is 285 grams of gold with a one-of-a-kind Cuban link that’s only made by Stacks Customs. The pendant is 257 grams of gold with 25 carats of VVS quality stones which makes it one of the highest classes of diamond clarity.
Just as he did at Louisville, Jackson didn’t start right out of the gate with Baltimore and served as Joe Flacco’s backup in the team’s lopsided win over Buffalo in Week 1.
But Jackson saw action in a couple of special packages devised by the Ravens, and as quarterback when Flacco was pulled from the game and Baltimore leading 40-0 early in the third quarter.
Nursing such a huge lead in sloppy conditions, Jackson only threw the ball four times, completing one pass for 24 yards.
He did show off his running abilities, however, carrying the ball seven times for 39 yards.
Jackson threw for 408 yards and three touchdowns during preseason while also running for 136 yards and three scores.
Ironically, the chain was unveiled on the same day that another chain from South Florida made its debut as well.
The University of Miami showed off its new turnover chain during the team’s victory over Savannah State on Saturday. This turnover chain is two pounds heavier and three inches bigger than last year’s chain, which became a national phenomenon.

That’s Hurricanes’ mascot, Sebastian the Ibis, as the centerpiece and this new chain has more than 4,000 stones in it compared to last year’s version which had 850 stones.
