The SJW mafia is on a rampage, and this time, it has its sights set on a Gulf War vet. Will Caligan, a talented comic artist, is a conservative Christian who is outspoken about some of his views regarding transgenderism. He just learned firsthand how difficult it is to be a Christian in a very liberal comic book world.
Several weeks ago, a rapper named Ginuwine was met with a very uncomfortable situation, to say the least. In a reality TV show, a transgendered male-to-female tried to kiss the rapper. Of course, the rapper refused the sexual advance by the transgender person, and received some criticism over it.
As a result, Caligan weighed in on the situation, according to PJ Media.
One person commented on the situation and said, “A transwoman is not a man.”
Caligan replied, “Bullcrap. Can’t change DNA.”
Sparks began to fly.
The original commenter said, “Gender is a social construct conflated with sex which gets further muddled when the complexities of biology are explored.”
Caligan fired back and said, “No it isn’t. It is a nature construct. You can think what you like but that doesn’t change the truth.”
Caligan is right, by the way. The term “gender” is now being thrown around by liberals to push a very flawed LGBT agenda. Liberals will say you’re offending someone because you called a man a man if that man instead wants to be called a women.
Sorry, but your genetics and DNA determine your sex, not whatever you happen to be “feeling” that day.
The leftist mafia, however, lost their minds over the comments.
In fact, one SJW named Malikali Shabazz wrote on his Facebook, “If you are friends with this transphobic piece of s**t, you can unfriend me today.”
Of course, it must be noted that Shabazz also believes that if you’re a man who won’t have sex with other men, then you’re transphobic. Apparently, it’s now a crime to be a straight male — or to choose who you have sexual relations with.
After the controversy began to mount, Caligan went to his boss at Short Fuse Media Group and informed him about the situation. PJ Media reported that the boss took it in stride, saying, “If it’s not this, it would be for something else. Don’t stress over it. I’m good and we’re dealing with it head on. I have your back!”
Apparently, though, he changed his tune when the pressure mounted.
The press release from Short Fuse Media Group said, “Short Fuse Media Group, LLC was founded on the principles of uniting all PEOPLE and embracing diversity….In order to maintain those principles, the decision has been made from our senior staff to sever ties with Will Caligan and Alpha Dog Studios, effective immediately as a result of comments that were made by Will that were deemed to be offensive by members of the indie comic book community as well as the LGBT Community.”
Once again, the SJWs got their way, a company buckled under pressure, and Caligan lost his job. However, there is some good news to this story.
After Caligan was let go, Vox Day of Castalia House Publishing heard about the situation and reached out to Caligan to offer him a project. Additionally, Day went to a crowdfunding site and has now raised over $31,000 to hire Caligan to turn one of Castalia House’s books into a graphic novel. Another supporter of Caligan started a GoFundMe page to help the family with legal and other expenses.
Make no mistake, though, the LGBT community is on the warpath to take out anyone who doesn’t agree with their agenda. So much for free speech.
The only free speech the LGBT community will allow is the speech that only agrees with their lifestyle.
