Cincinnati Reds legend Pete Rose is making his case for the commissioner of baseball to overturn his lifetime ban from the game.

His death is the latest among major league greats this year: Whitey Ford, Bob Gibson, Lou Brock, Tom Seaver and Al Kaline.
