Watch: Mamdani Follows Up Video Telling Illegals How to Handle ICE With Video Saying ID Not Required to Vote in NYC

The right hopes to win elections on Election Day. The left hopes to win elections before Election Day.

For the latter, victory comes through procedures and standards implemented before the 24-hour period in which Americans choose their representatives. That includes making the time period itself longer than a day and ensuring that few safeguards, if any, are in place to verify the person casting a ballot should be doing so.

To that end, New York City Democratic Mayor Zohran Mamdani has a new public service announcement calling for anyone and everyone to vote despite their immigration status.

The mayor has been on a hot streak. On Friday, he posted footage to social media platform X where he gave instructions to illegal aliens on how to avoid Immigration and Customs Enforcement, opting to deliver his message in Spanish.

On Monday, he followed that message with a video about voting.

Mamdani appears in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, telling his audience that this is where he cast a ballot.

He then turns to a sculpture from the “Arts of the Ancient Americas” exhibit called “Seated Elder,” asking it, “Have you voted yet?”

It’s a clear attempt at humor, but one that communicates a disturbing reality, as New York’s voting requirements are so lax that this inanimate object would stand a solid chance of casting a ballot.

Mamdani then makes it clear, “Voting is easy and safe.”

“In New York City, you don’t need to bring anything with you to cast your vote at the polls.”

That’s right. According to Mamdani, you can wander off the street without any form of identification and decide who New York’s elected officials will be.

He adds, sweetening the deal further, “We’ll even give you a pen.”

The mayor drones on about poll watchers and “secure” elections before making an interesting note.

“Armed federal agents, including ICE, cannot be at New York polling places without a judicial warrant signed by a judge,” he made clear.

What an odd thing to say.

Why would someone at a polling place need to worry about Immigration and Customs Enforcement?

These tactics should be unimaginable. Blue states enjoy making a simple process incredibly complex not to bolster its integrity, but to undermine it.

Voting should ideally be done at a polling place, with a government-issued photo ID, on Election Day. We can even make Election Day a national holiday to ensure voter turnout.

Discussions of mail-in ballots, voting drop boxes, and alternative forms of ID only enable fraud.

Again, the right tries to win elections on election day, but the left is looking to win long before it.
