7 concrete slabs, 1 brick and the most amazing golf shot I have ever seen

Share

Not every golfer can make it onto the PGA Tour, but those who don’t might be able to pull off a trick shot or two that makes them go viral in a matter of seconds.

That’s what happened with a video posted by @bryanbrosgolf — the account of South Carolina brothers George Bryan IV and Wesley Bryan — on social media.

The Bryans filmed a golf trick shot that has been viewed more than 325,000 times on Facebook and Instagram.

One of the Bryan brothers used several slabs of concrete and one brick to finagle a trick shot that has to be seen to be believed.

He launched the golf ball against an upright slab, and it ricocheted against five other upright slabs before bouncing off two prone slabs.

The ball then bounced off a brick on the green, because why wouldn’t a brick be on the green? Logic aside, after bouncing off the brick the ball bounced once on the green before dropping into the hole.

No one knows how many takes it took for the Bryan brother to make the shot, but judging by his reaction, the outcome seemed unexpected and there was pure jubilation for both the golfer and the cameraman.

Are you impressed by this shot?

While the video has undoubtedly become popular on social media, some users couldn’t help but question how much time Bryan has on his hands to be making these kinds of videos.

One Instagram user said “they got too much time on their hands,” while another replied “All This but can’t make the cut…”

The Instagram bio for @bryanbrosgolf does state that one of the brothers is trying to make it onto the PGA Tour, and while this video may not help his chances, it does at least help get his name out there.

Patrick Reed, who just won the Masters two weeks ago, has 122,000 followers on Instagram, while the Bryan brothers have more than 150,000 followers.

So while the one Bryan brother’s efforts to get that PGA Tour card have come up short, he is still finding success in other areas, and who doesn’t like checking out a random trick shot?

The account has many other trick shot videos on its Instagram page, including others involving the concrete slabs.

For those wondering, the Bryan brothers are actually decent golfers. They both played at the University of South Carolina, where one was All-SEC and the other was an All-American.

They might never make it to the PGA Tour, but they are having fun doing what they do and are putting smiles on people’s faces.
