Bombshell: Former 'Ilhan Omar' Ally Turns on Her, Reveals 'The Allegation Is Almost Certainly True'

A Minnesota Democrat says reflexively supporting embattled Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota will lead Democrats down a path they will regret when the full truth is revealed.

Joe Radinovich, a former Minnesota state representative and Democratic aide to Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, is warning Democrats that Omar’s claim that she never married her brother will eventually be exposed as a lie, according to the New York Post.

The marriage to Ahmed Nur Said Elmi took place in 2009, allegedly as part of an immigration fraud scheme.

“Democrats should understand that the allegation is almost certainly true — whatever conclusion they draw from that point could vary — and her denials calling it a right-wing, Islamophobic or racist conspiracy are almost certainly not,” Radinovich posted on X.

“And then I’d be very, very careful about how I qualified on allegations around her finances — where her defense looks similar and where no meaningful questions have been answered publicly, and where any objective look at the evidence doesn’t look… great,” he posted on X.

In a separate post, Radinovich said the raid on Omar’s house was not simply political theater empty of substance, writing, “it’s notable a DC judge signed off on it.”

Although he did not take a position on the question of her immigration status, he doubled down on the issue of her alleged marriage to her brother, writing, “I’m pretty confident this specific allegation is true.”

“There’s plenty of evidence and sourcing available if you don’t dismiss it out of hand,” he posted while defending himself from an Omar supporter.

“So you believe it’s all a right wing conspiracy despite the timelines, the tax filings, the deleted social media posts, the withdrawn paperwork, the default divorce, the ‘as far as I know’ responses from both parties, and the sourcing of Obama era prosecutors in NYT?” he asked one social media user.

“That’s not to mention contemporary witnesses who live in our community but who haven’t yet been willing to be involved in the stories,” he posted.

According to The New York Times, the FBI and Department of Homeland Security investigated Omar’s marriage in the summer of 2016, during the Obama administration, and found indications of fraud.

The report said prosecutors did not drop the case on its merits, but because of a five-year statute of limitations on marriage fraud in the context of immigration.

The New York Times indicated that prosecutors might be able to find a way around that by arguing that Omar has been involved in a long-running immigration fraud conspiracy, saying that would be “a broader case that Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin has said could lead to Ms. Omar’s deportation.”
