Expert Has #1 NK Target That Would Humiliate KJU
With the United States and North Korea exchanging verbal spats for almost a year, a leading expert on the rogue regime has suggested an unorthodox attack that would send a clear message to dictator Kim Jong Un.
In an op-ed at The Daily Beast, Jeffrey Lewis detailed the difficulties associated with the U.S. striking and humiliating Kim without prompting him to retaliate with his growing stockpile of nuclear weapons.
Lewis, the founding publisher of Arms Control Wonk and the director of the East Asia Nonproliferation Program at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterrey, California, argues that the U.S. should literally launch a missile strike to destroy Kim’s personal toilet — which he reportedly brings with him to missile strikes.
Detailing how North Korea is not far away from being able to launch a nuclear missile anywhere in the world — particularly at the United States — Lewis said it’s likely that some sort of military actions will be required to force Kim into submission.
By launching a precise missile strike that hit Kim’s personal toilet, not only would it scare the crap out of him, it would show that the U.S. is more than capable of utterly destroying any target it wishies.
Lewis argued a limited but precise missile strike would show Kim that the U.S. is not only in charge, but that it’s done playing games.
Such a move could result in the regime fearing America would destroy their nuclear stockpiles and resources.
“The central challenge, as we contemplate a ‘bloody nose’ option for a limited military strike, is finding a suitable target that represents Kim Jong Un’s nose — a target that will allow our strike to be intimidating and humiliating to Kim, but not the sort of broad assault that might prompt him to retaliate with his growing stockpile of nuclear weapons,” Lewis wrote.
Lewis jokingly speculates that Kim actually brings a port-a-potty with him to the regime’s missile tests because they are carried out in the middle of nowhere.
As such, he concedes that hitting a bathroom would have little strategic importance, but Kim’s personal toilet is very important to the self-absorbed dictator.
“Destroying the port-a-potty will deny Kim Jong Un a highly valued creature comfort, while also demonstrating the incredible accuracy of US precision munitions to hold Kim and his minions at risk,” Lewis wrote.
He added: “It will send an unmistakable message: We can kill you while you are dropping a deuce.”
His playful idea gives a new perspective to a dangerous situation that has been festering for years.
In August, President Donald Trump reminded the rogue regime that the U.S. is determined to remain the most powerful nation in the world, and that he would not hesitate to rain down “fire and fury” against North Korea.
After months of North Korean missile launches and vows to destroy the United States, Trump has made it clear to North Korea that he will protect the U.S. and its allies at all costs.
And carrying out a precise missile strike to destroy Kim’s port-a-potty would prove to the tin-pot dictator that how accurate and powerful the U.S. military can be.
