Where Was the Media Outrage at Leftist Kids' Sick Attack on an Elderly Trump Fan?
The contrast in coverage is undeniable.
The same mainstream media that was ruthless to a Covington High School student for standing still and smiling during a confrontation last week was silent only months ago when young protesters actively bullied an elderly Trump supporter.
As most Americans know by now, social media commenters and media pundits leaped to attack Covington High School student Nick Sandmann after he stood firm while Native American activist Nathan Phillips loudly played a drum in front of him during a faceoff near the Lincoln Memorial in Washington after Friday’s March for Life.
The high school student received threats and Twitter-verified liberals started a crusade to find personal information about others involved in the confrontation.
The outrage was fueled by the establishment media coverage, including the false characterization of Phillips as a veteran of the Vietnam War.
The media didn’t give Sandmann the same benefit of the doubt Phillips received. Sandmann, and his “Make America Great Again” hat, was painted as the villain of the piece from the beginning.
In reality, the student wasn’t attempting to disrespect Native Americans. He even tried to de-escalate the confrontation.
Phillips, on the other hand, is a known attention-seeker and provocateur.
This entire outrage was manufactured by the liberal media and left-wing activists.
The establishment media will never tell you that young, liberal protesters have done much worse than anything Sandmann did.
During the confirmation hearings of now-Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in October, for instance, liberal protesters were completely out of control. But there was one disturbing incident in particular that went virtually unreported by the mainstream media.
Two young Kavanaugh protesters danced around a 71-year-old Trump fan, chanting loudly and mockingly with the mob. And while their ages aren’t known, they’re definitely in the “youth” demographic — exactly the kind of high school and college kids liberals need to win elections.
At one point, it became a physical attack as the young woman tried to slap the signs out of the Trump supporter’s hands.

The footage is both nauseating and infuriating, but it didn’t get any of the play that was accorded to the Phillips confrontation.
There was no crusade to find out the left-wing kids’ identities and media personalities didn’t condemn the dancers on the air.
Any reasonable person can agree that what these young liberals did was worse than the Covington kids, but most Americans have never seen this footage because it didn’t suit the mainsteam media’s agenda.
The media let these terrible demonstrators off the hook but attacked a conservative kid for literally standing still.
The contrast is undeniable, and Americans know it.
