While the Rest of Hollywood Turns a Blind Eye to Peter Fonda, James Woods Bulldozes Him

Share

In what has become unofficially known as “Trump Derangement Syndrome,” many people on the left have utterly lost their minds and have been consumed by hatred for President Donald Trump.

That visceral hate has been displayed on numerous occasions by certain individuals over the past few years, but one Hollywood actor just allowed his unmitigated enmity to cross a line with unspeakable tweets that should have been widely condemned by everyone across the political spectrum … but which have gone largely unmentioned among the left.

That Hollywood leftist is Peter Fonda — son of legendary actor Henry Fonda and brother of anti-American traitor Jane — who engaged in a Twitter rant Wednesday that resulted in the Secret Service being notified about the sickening threats he had posted.

Fonda suggested that Trump’s youngest son Barron be kidnapped and locked in a cage with pedophiles, called for Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen to be beaten and raped in public, demanded White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ children be taken away from her and called for the stalking and harassment of Border Patrol and Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials, as well as their children.

According to Twitchy, Fonda had posted in a now-deleted all-caps tweet, “WE SHOULD HACK THIS SYSTEM, GET THE ADDRESSES OF THE ICE AGENTS CBP AGENTS AND SURROUND THEIR HOMES IN PROTEST. WE SHOULD FIND OUT WHAT SCHOOLS THEIR CHILDREN GO TO AND SURROUND THE SCHOOLS IN PROTEST. THESE AGENTS ARE DOING THIS CUZ THEY WANT TO DO IT. THEY LIKE DOING THIS. F***”

Hollywood actor and conservative firebrand James Woods wasn’t about to let any of that slide. In response to the tweets about surrounding the homes of ICE and Border Patrol agents — as well as the schools of their children — Woods fired back, “Correct me if I’m wrong, but inciting the stalking of children in California is a felony.”

Should Peter Fonda be condemned by the left for these controversial tweets?
One would assume that the stalking of children is still a felony in the state of California, but given the state’s increasing propensity for decriminalizing criminal actions, such an assumption is no longer a given.

Fonda has already deleted his other incredibly offensive posts which reeked of misogyny and pedophilia — where are all the leftists who supposedly stand up for the rights of women and children? — that targeted Barron and first lady Melania Trump, as well as Nielsen and Sanders.

But Woods provided screenshots of those horrifically explicit posts that had been captured prior to deletion, and shared them with the caption, “This is Peter Fonda, in case you missed this…”

According to Fox News, Fonda has since apologized for this series of highly inappropriate tweets, even as it was shown to be the latest in a long history of inflammatory political commentary by the actor.

“I tweeted something highly inappropriate and vulgar about the president and his family in response to the devastating images I was seeing on television. Like many Americans, I am very impassioned and distraught over the situation with children separated from their families at the border, but I went way too far,” Fonda said in a statement.

“It was wrong and I should not have done it. I immediately regretted it and sincerely apologize to the family for what I said and any hurt my words have caused,” he added.

Sony Pictures, which is behind a new film featuring Fonda that is about to be released, issued a statement condemning his tweets that targeted government officials and innocent children, but said it wasn’t going to pull or alter Fonda’s scenes in the movie, as that wouldn’t be fair to the other actors and crew who worked on it.

Funny, that concern for the other actors and crew wasn’t on display when Roseanne Barr crossed the line with a tweet and had her show cancelled out from under her.

The left’s double standards live on in all of its disgusting and dubious “glory.”
