Woman Who Posted Viral Video of AOC and Dog Issues Disturbing Message Afterward

Share

A few news cycles ago, or was it a few hundred, video emerged of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez from her college days, mimicking the dancing scene at the end of “The Breakfast Club.” The media indignantly told us that conservatives were attacking her because of this.

This was funny, because I couldn’t actually find any conservatives I knew or worked with who actually thought that. I also couldn’t find any writing about that online.

As for this particular conservative, I thought it was probably the coolest thing she’s ever done. It actually made me want to go back and watch the movie. I would still be attacking her as a politician, mind you, because she espouses horrible economic and social ideas and surrounds herself with people whose opinion of America isn’t terribly high.

So in that vein, a left-wing activist who says she once worked with Rep. Ocasio-Cortez posted a video of the Bronx’s favorite socialist playing with a dog for National Love Your Pet Day.

A few hours later, she tweeted a message claiming conservatives would disapprove of the dog video because, you know, they’ll disapprove of anything regarding Ocasio-Cortez.

And then a few hours after that, she tweeted something that proved why conservatives actually don’t like Ocasio-Cortez.

So first, here’s the video of Ocasio-Cortez with the bulldog which activist Simone Norman posted to her Twitter account:

Do you think that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has issues with American values?

I don’t even like bulldogs (or Ocasio-Cortez, for that matter) very much, but that’s a surprisingly adorable bulldog and an adorable video involving the representative.

But apparently, sinister Republicans are going to be making a big deal out of it! Or at least would make a big deal because they had questions about Ocasio-Cortez abusing congressional privileges on behalf of her significant other because, um, satire? I dunno:

This, in case you missed it, is a reference to the fact that Ocasio-Cortez may have committed an ethics violation by giving her boyfriend a congressional email account. Apparently, shining the merest amount of light on this stunningly stupid potential rules violation makes us evil conspiracy theorists because — well, don’t try too hard making it work. It’s clearly a failed dig at a) the notion that conservatives will attack anything about Ocasio-Cortez, including that “Breakfast Club” video and b) the fact conservatives deign to attack Ocasio-Cortez at all.

But hey, if you wanted to figure out the why behind b), you didn’t have to wait that long for Norman to clarify that for you, as well.

Warning: Explicit language ahead.

Just in case you needed a refresher on what that’s in reference to:

Well, that’s more than a little disturbing. But please, tell us more about how us those of us on the right have the wrong idea about all of you wonderful socialists and what you want for our country, and why we shouldn’t be disturbed that this now seems to be the Democrat rank-and-file.

We have, in short, the exact reason why conservatives don’t like Ocasio-Cortez or those close to her: In this case, the individual close to her literally wants a brand-new nation in place of the United States, the nation which her confederate is supposed to be serving. But to the left, the reason we all dislike Ocasio-Cortez and the new socialist left is because we’re evil conspiracy theorists, the kind of people who hate viral videos of dancing or whatever.

If there are any of those conservatives, well, they need to seriously reevaluate their priorities in life. I don’t think I’m speaking to too many people here, however. There’s plenty of substance with which to attack the new friendly face of Marxism.

In short: Cute dog video, representative, but get better friends.
