While many in the media claimed American workers wouldn’t receive any benefits from the GOP tax cuts bill, many companies have already given their employees bonuses and pay raises.

As noted by the Washington Examiner, at least 164 companies have already rewarded their employees because of the tax cuts, which will take effect in February.

And one company made it very clear why it was giving out bonuses by putting President Donald Trump’s name directly on the check.

Spellex, a writing tools software company located in Tampa, Florida, recently gave its employees a $1,000 bonus.

As noted by Independent Journal Review, the memo line of the check read: “Trump Tax Cut and Jobs Act.”

In comments reported by Americans for Tax Reform, Spellex CEO Sheldon Wolf encouraged other companies to follow his lead, adding that the tax cuts will help the middle class.

“I’m the founder and CEO of Spellex Corporation located in Tampa, FL. We’re a software development company which I founded in 1988. This is the first time I’ve done anything like this,” Wolf wrote.

“I’m hoping there are thousands of companies like mine who gave their employees $1,000 bonuses to show our support for the new tax plan which will ultimately help the middle class.”

Do you think the GOP tax cuts will help grow the economy even more?

Washington Examiner columnist Paul Bedard uploaded a photo of the check, which shows “Trump Tax Cut and Jobs Act” listed on the memo line.

This is truly incredible to see companies giving money back to their employees for their hard work.

The GOP tax bill will allow an overwhelming majority of Americans to keep more of their own money, help grow our already booming economy, and create more jobs.

Not a single Democrat voted in favor of the GOP tax cuts bill, so the party can claim no credit for an immediate improvement in average Americans’ lives.

That is a very big deal to many Americans, and voters will remember whose name was on the check memo line when they go to the polls in November for midterm elections.

One can be sure these these employees were grateful for the bonus, and now they know Trump was the reason.
