Fact Check: Does Viral Image Show a 'Crisis Actor' Applying Fake Blood at Bondi Beach?

It’s a stunning claim that’s been used to cast doubt upon the veracity of the reporting regarding the shooting at Bondi Beach  in Sydney, Australia. But is it accurate?

According to multiple posts on X, a victim of the mass shooting at a Hanukkah event on the beach which killed 15 innocent people was actually a crisis actor.

“Crisis actors,” a common conspiracy theory in which people involved in shootings are actually paid performers, have long been associated with the heterodox right wing; InfoWars impresario Alex Jones, in particular, has faced serious repercussions for amplifying such theories.
