Jessica Alba Welcomes 3rd Child into the World at Age 36

It sometimes feels like Jessica Alba and I live lives that are eerily similar.
I have done all the things she has done, just not as well. Was I a movie star?
No, I wasn’t a ‘star’ but I did feature in a Circuit City training video in high school. And, no, I was not a powerful business leader. But I did sell my art at the Portland Saturday Market so I have that.
And, like my wife and I are soon to do, Jessica Alba just welcomed her 3rd child into the world. The former Dark Angel star posted the news to Instagram New Years day.
We have never achieved a pregnancy announcement that cute. For some these things can go not as planned — but fortunately for this new family of five, everything went well.
“Hayes Alba Warren 12/31/17 Best gift to ring in the New Year!! Cash and I feel so blessed. Haven and Honor are already obsessed with their new baby bro. #familyof5,” Alba wrote.
As the hash tag indicates, Alba is now the matriarch of a family of five. Along with her husband Cash she is parent to daughters Haven and Honor. Baby Hayes is the first son for the family.
Alba and her daughters had previously announced the pregnancy with a cute video on Instagram.
Alba’s daughters cradle numbered black balloons while she cradles her belly.
She posted the photo on July 17, with a caption expressing her excitement: “@cash_warren and I are officially going to be outnumbered.”
Jessica described her meeting of her husband, Cash, on the set of the Fantastic Four in 2004 to Cosmopolitan in 2010.
“Right after I met [Cash],” she said, “I called my best friend and was like, ‘I met this guy, and I feel like I’ve known him forever — and I’m going to know him for the rest of my life.’”
The Honest Company, the company founded by Alba, is valued at over a billion dollars.
Among other things, The Honest Company makes baby goods. No doubt the family will have no shortage of diapers in the home.
I can only imagine that the The Honest Company founder and El Camino Christmas star and her crew will be just as joyful with their third child as we will be with ours.
