Little Girl Has Adorable Meltdown When Mom Breaks the News She Isn't Invited to Royal Wedding
People across the world were buzzing with excitement over Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding last Saturday.
Prince Harry and Markle, now officially known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, married on May 19 in stunning style.
Nearly 600 guests were invited to take part in the highly-anticipated day including the ceremony and lunchtime reception.
One little girl expressed what we were all thinking when we didn’t receive an invitation to the event in our mailbox.
The invitations follow many years of Royal tradition and have been made by @BarnardWestwood. They feature the Three-Feathered Badge of the Prince of Wales printed in gold ink. pic.twitter.com/cd7LBmRJxO

“Why am I still not going to London?” she asked her mother the day before the wedding.
“Well you have to be invited to go to the Royal Wedding,” her mom explained. “You can’t just go because you want to. You have to be invited.”
The girl seemed to consider that fact for a moment before she said, “We’ll see if I get in.”
“But you didn’t get an invitation, love,” her mother patiently said. “The Royal Wedding is only for royalty.”
The girl’s eyes then got really big and sad as the news sunk in. “Are you just joking me?” she asked.
Her mom reaffirmed the sad news, and her daughter replied, “I was so looking forward to it.” She seemed to have gotten a tea party her class was having in honor of the Royal Wedding with the actual event itself.
The little girl then began to cry because she doesn’t get to go to “Meghan’s wedding.” Her mom then has to explain to her that only princes and princesses get to go to the wedding.
“You’re mine and daddy’s little princess,” the mother said, when her daughter asks why she isn’t a real princess.
The meltdown continued, and the girl concluded that she wasn’t invited, “Probably cause Meghan doesn’t know me.”
I think we can all relate to the disappointment. Maybe this little girl will get an invite to the next one.
